The SIG Center for Computer Graphics houses the research Center for Human Modeling and Simulation and the ViDi Center for Digital Visualization. HMS Ph.D. students are allocated desks and workstations inside the Center. Most Ph.D. students come from Computer and Information Science. Interested applicants should check the Computer Information Science Doctorate page for admission information, preparation, and degree requirements.
In addition, HMS and ViDi often host visiting Ph.D. students and visiting scholars. Support must come from their home university, but SIG Center facilities and University resources are open to them. Please email inquiries to Norm Badler, SIG Center Director: badler@seas.upenn.edu.
